Name of my line is Nippy Lavern Designs. I have been designing clothing since age 17. I named my company after my aunt, Darlene “Nippy Lavern” Taylor, who pasted away when I was 2 years old. I am the CEO/ Founder/Designer of Nippy Lavern. Since starting my company I have met and built a team of professionals who shares the same passion for fashion that I do. I have an outstanding Co- designer name is Arlene Ventura, an administrative assistant/ model Sharlene Hills, a phenomenal photographer Jerome Stewart, a dynamic hair/make up stylist Janeije St. Clair and a unique body paint artist Twilisha McClelland. Together we are dominate and no one can stop us in all the events that we taken part in.

I started Nippy Lavern on April 19, 2008. If you’re looking for a fresh new look Nippy Lavern clothing offers unique styling and customization. The purpose of Nippy Lavern is to fill a need of luxury, quality and comfort in creative artistic garments. We have participated in over 35 shows throughout the New York metropolitan area and New Jersey. From sizzling sexy bathing suits to a professional look to high in gowns we satisfy all fashion needs. Look out for our upcoming men’s line is called Taylor Legend which will be released march of 2010.

Nippy Lavern specializes in the unique distinctive custom designs, evening wear sports wear, costume design, t-shirts, and swim wear we satisfy all fashion needs for women and men.

We love fashion because we are able to express our creativity and thoughts into our clothing. When we see our customers wearing our clothing we get excited because it’s our creation that made someone look exquisite.

My fashion influences are Designers Betsey Johnson, Vera Wang, and Coco Chanel.My style is influenced by Marilyn Monroe, Josephine Baker, Keri Hilson, and Lady Gaga.

My talents are basketball, bowling, drawing, and dancing.

What does your line represent? Magu Clothing represents a vision of what class & quality should be.

Why fashion? Its my passion since a young child that and design. So figure I combine the two and launching my idea of a clothing company after realizing that my work offered a fresh variety of flawless designs, incomparable to any other.

Who are some of your fashion influences? Cant really say anyone in particular just appreciate any fashion that is unique and appealing.

Do you have any other talents or hobbies? Well I am graphic designer and business entrepreneur, hobbies include listening to music, staying up to date with the latest fashion, spending time with my family ( my girl and 2 boys, my bro, my sis, my nephews, my mom, and my dad) without them this might not be possible. They keep me striving for the best, sky's the limit.

Name and Name of your line / How did you get started?: Willie Mitchell Designs/ I started drawing at the age of four, fell in love with the whole concept amnd imagination of art. I became fascinated with fashion design as a teen by watching fashion programs like 'Style with Elsa Klensch.'

What does your line represent?:The line represents a certain lifestyle and feeling. We cater to the individual who likes to be elegant in a understated way. A person who travels and enjoys different cultures and is not intimidated by wearing unusal colors or putting certain pieces together. Willie Mitchell Designs represents unique elegance.

Why fashion?:Fashion is a beautiful and powerful expression. It can be a great outlet to show someone's personality, to make a statement whether good or bad. Or even be a form of healing to someone. Fashion is used in so many genres. Their is so many limitless ideas with fashion.

Who are some of your fashion influences?:My fashion influence is very broad and eclectic. I'm inspired by people like Yves Saint Laurent, CoCo Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Sonia Rykiel, Erte`, Josephine Baker, Diana Ross, Grace Jones, Jody Watley and Linda Evangelista.

Do you have any other talents or hobbies?:I love to sing, dance and cook.
